Oshkosh, I think. |

I thought it had to be either an Oshkosh or a Walter. And though I'm leaning more towards the Oshkosh, I can't find any model that would serve as proof(and I have a book on Oshkoshes). -- Last edit: 2011-03-21 15:58:26 |

Perhaps the customer ordered a very special door configuration. |

Sorry, it is an American LaFrance O-11B from the mid-1950's. -- Last edit: 2011-03-23 00:48:45 |

Good link. We've got two others here: /vehicles_make-American+LaFrance_model-O-11A.html Now who's going to correct this? -- Last edit: 2011-03-23 16:54:34 |

I looked this up today... The first truck they stopped at and suit up Chip, is an O-11B. The 2nd is an O-6. There are also shots of an R-2, 750A and a 530B. The Trucks are from Oxnard AFB, CA. The base history shows it used F-101B's 1960-1968. The 101's were replaced with F-106's. The O-11B is made by American LaFrance. The O-6 os Cardox. The 750A was Ward LaFrance. Also the Fire Trucks At War site has the O-6 on it... 58L 30. -- Last edit: 2011-04-12 06:37:04 |
