They were actually badged Bedford-Scammell with Bedford on the left of the radiator grille and Scammell on the right.

They were also originally marketed as Bedford-Scammell right from before WWII

Having said that I have no preference for using Bedford-Scammell rather than plain Bedford, as it would avoid any future confusion, but we just need to agree the best naming convention.
