It's older than 1986. The car's silhouette is a sort of composite between a Oldsmobile Cutlass (quarter windows), a '78 Buick Electra (headlights), 80's Buick Regal (grille), etc. |

Chick is a NASCAR race car, so he can't be a Buick Grand-National or a GNX because these cars never raced in NASCAR. They had a 3.8L turbocharged V6 engine anyway.
