I found this contribution listed as 'just' Barford, model 100, but I only have found Aveling-Barford as machinery maker. Which is the correct maker? |

I don't think this is an (Aveling-)Barford; I think it's a 1-ton Benford, like http://jcbdiggers.com/index.php?machine=1145 . Aveling-Barford, so far as I can tell, never made dumpers smaller than 3 tons; Barford did make a 1-ton, but it was completely different to this. |

Its a Barford 100 . The parent company was Aveling Barford but the small dumpers were always marketed under the Barford MAKE/ Name. Incidentally Aveling Barford had a plant hire company called 'A+B Hire Ltd ' and this is one of theirs, see signwriting on side.
