Shouldn't all AC Cobras be listed under the same brand name. Some are listed as AC Cobra, some as AC Shelby Cobra, and some as Shelby Cobra.

..That's a good question ... but hard to answer.! ..Lot's of arguements ..as to who made what ...and where ... and what name should come first.!! (..I personally think these 289/427 cobra's should be called AC Shelby (AC the actual maker of the car ... Shelby modified ..with ford engine.!) ... The later cobra daytona coupe ... should just have the Shelby name.
The origin of this particular car (this page )..should be GB.! (..it started life here.! ..was shipped off to the usa for shelby to do his magic ..then back here again.!!)

In addition fo that, most of the Cobra here on the site are probably replicas.

..Yes that's a big problem also ...the replica's nowadays are getting really good ...and hard to tell from 'Original' cars.!

this might not be a Cobra after all. I think it's an AC Ace.

Definitely Ace, not Cobra. Flat screen, no sidevents, rear drum brakes.
