We have 'Seven' and '7' - which one is correct?

Good question. Wikipedia says 7, but numerous owners' clubs favour Seven, as I do. Where the RAC h.p. also constitutes the only model name, I tend to favour giving it in full (Austin Eight/Ten, Morris Eight etc.)

Both appear in adverts from the period but Seven looks to me to be preferred also.

In text and pricing 'Seven'

'7' used in illustration and logo type formats.
