If this were an Oldsmobile, it would be a Custom Cruiser. But for the record, it's a 1971 Pontiac(I just checked). It could be a Safari, or an ungrained Grand Safari. -- Last edit: 2006-06-16 00:41:43 |

To me, it looks like a 1971-73 Buick Estate Wagon, it even has the "portholes" on the sides of it's hood. the simpsons never clearly would state what vehicles were unless they were mentioned specifically. Marge's Sisters drove a VW Thing, but the grill is off. Marge's wagon is huge but has the rear bumper taillights of the Malibu wagon, very small. Homer's car looks very generic but has Cadillac Sedan DeVille taillights. They would meld vehicles together to not have to deal with paying royalties. They did make up a car for one episode. The Canyonero |
