dsl ◊ 2011-02-09 22:30	UK production stopped Nov 67 ahead of Escort launch Jan 68. While Anglias were widely exported in early 60s, I think it tailed off by 65-66; Ford UK efforts to crack US market lasted a bit longer, by then mainly with Cortinas (Mk1 and early Mk2) which did not sell in big numbers. dsl ◊ 2017-10-05 02:14	Seems US had normal Anglia Deluxe 997cc [106E] from 1960, added Standard poverty version and Estate in 1962 and Super [1198cc, 124E] in 1964. Then in 1965, range was chopped back to just the Deluxe but now with upgrade to 1198cc [so 124E] until end 1967.
