I'm glad I found this site! I finally did some research and found this movie. I bought the Cadillac from the owner who had this car when the movie was being filmed. When they shipped the car back from filming the previous owner parked it, and it sat from 2009 until September of this year. It was in pretty rough shape. But I'm proud to say it's back on the road and running like a champ. It still needs some work, but mostly just the interior. Thank you to whoever made this page!

Here's a few pictures:

:king:

As the new owner, could you perhaps verify that for MY1973 it's no longer a Fleetwood Eldorado- just an Eldorado Convertible?

It is titled as a 73 Eldorado. I work with the guy who owned it when it was in the movie. He claims it was also used in a Citgo commercial around the same time as the movie, but I can't find anything on it. The spare key has red dice on it and I was told it was a movie prop, but I haven't seen the movie yet... guess I need to!

Also, it still has the same tires that it had in the movie... lol. It only has the drivers side mirror, and not the passenger side, just like in the movie. Can anyone verify if this was an option from the factory?

As 73caddy said above, an Eldorado, not a Fleetwood Eldorado in the papers.

The only spot on the car that says anything about Fleetwood is on the door sill plate, "Body by Fisher, Interior by Fleetwood" It's not on the title or anywhere else on the car. I've got it parked for the winter in my garage getting my front bumper pieces painted and hopefully getting the whole interior and top redone before spring.
