I put the year on 1937-1938 , 1936 models were different and had a different grille. The GMC trucks as seen here were restyled in 1937 and this new line of COE trucks was also introduced for 1937.1938 models were similar to 1937's.A 1936 conventional cab GMC is listed elsewhere in this movie. |

As the cab was the same for all trucks, it's impossible to identify the ton-rating with just such a view. For the record, a 2½-ton model would be an F-18 and, if I'm not mistaken, an F-33 would mean a 5-ton truck... (1938 GMC F-18 brochure cover) -- Last edit: 2015-10-22 04:03:42 |

Hello, I think this truck is a 37 F-33HD its a 5 ton from what I can see, if you notice there's no engine crank hole on the grill bottom, and the fenders are wider than a F-18. I have a 5 ton and the front looks like mine, the only thing I cant see in this picture is the lugs on the truck, mine have 10 lugs for the HD models, I ordered this movie so I can check out this truck, I would love to learn more about 1937 GMC F-33 HD trucks. |

What about the F-33H, F-46, F-61, or F-61H? |
