Type HY appeared in 1959, this must be a Type H or Type HZ... Wheels look heavy enough to make this a Type H. Although the car has no license plates I guess it is 'made for E', because the (high placed) taillight is under the license plate, not in the centre of it. Not sure when the metallic sides were introduced; the very first versions had canvas on the sides behind the side windows. A few Type H(Y) have been built in Spain during 1962-1965, but this one must be a French built version. |
