Vitesse, don't you mean Vanden Plas? Didn't the Vitesse have a boot lid spoiler? |

Yes, it did. |

There is identity swapping with this car. In the film, the car is NOT a Vitesse. It's missing the rear spoiler and wears the wrong alloys. The interior shots are also not Vitesse which had a grey interior (only) and unique seats. In the mews scene, the engine sound as the car pulls away is a 6-cylinder SD1 - the car interior shots after this have dubbed engine (not an SD1 noise!). |

Black looks good on an SD1 |

This is 100% nothing like a vitesse BUT C419YUE is listed as a .....vitesse |

It's listed as a Vitesse, it's even appeared in the Rover SD1 Club magazine as a Vitesse. Yet in the film, it is most certainly not a Vitesse. Very strange |

What about Vanden 'Tesse or Vitesse Plas :P |

This is only a hunch but could it be a fake |

VdP had tints, so excluded. Vitesse was only other version offered after 84, and early 86 reg date only a few months before all SD1 stopped so oddities may exist. |
