The advert does not make much sense without a brand, unless it's a coded reference to Davy Jones growing up in Manchester. Filmed in Canada which might explain the strange phone box. Edit: a London Routemaster in Manchester is also very unlikely, but apparently it did happen very briefly in the mid-1960s when an LT-liveried bus - possibly RM1414 - was used on trial. -- Last edit: 2010-12-13 20:07:52 |

No such thing as an "RT Routemaster". |

A propos orignal British: the phone-box doesn't look authentic, or? |

The phone box looks like a replica based vaguely on the K1 box: Link to "en.wikipedia.org" ...which came before the familiar designs (K2 and K6). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_telephone_box |

It's an RM class Routemaster - I note there's a logo on the side for one of the operating divisions of London Transport created in 1988 - looks like Selkent as seen on this Titan http://londonbusesbyadam.fotopic.net/p40032032.html An RM appeared in the Canadian-filmed 'Four Minutes', and a similar 'phone box appeared in an episode of 'Psi Factor', filmed in Canada. -- Last edit: 2010-12-14 14:08:08 |

Might be the same Routemaster seen in a Toronto street in Jumper: /vehicle_135769-AEC-Routemaster.html |
