Not a 'Series' Imperial with those bumpers and that roofline (and without a vinyl roof covering) and not in 1959 anyway. That style of side trim was probably only used on Hawk Series I, 1957/58, or Series I Super Snipe 1958/59. From the front you could easily spot which one but from the rear it's only possible if you can see the badge. The front grille wraparound may not be there so I would say it's probably a Hawk. Seems monotone which may have been quite unusual for Series I models. Perhaps it's an all black version for Government use, or similar. |
