MelTX ◊ 2023-10-16 23:27	Very likely a 1987 Mustang. In early-1987 I bought a new fastback exactly like that one... except I had the optional sunroof. Ford tagged that color with an "6H" code and called it JONQUIL during introduction --- later referring to it as MEDIUM YELLOW. I kept that car for 11 years and received occasional comments about its color. Although somewhat rare, I noticed several other 1987 Mustangs with that color over the years. That color was only available with the LX models... never the GT. I saw it in hatchback, notchback, and convertible styles... with either the four or eight cylinder engines. The "6H" code only seemed to last for one year. In 1988 and thereafter, the yellow Mustangs used a "66" color-code... sometimes called TROPICAL YELLOW and sometimes MIMOSA. The "66" color ALMOST matched the "6H" color but would fail a side-by-side comparison. -- Last edit: 2023-10-20 16:34:43
