Episode revolves around a Morgan style car company called Griffon motors. Never seen it but I know that the JBA Falcon ( /vehicles_make-JBA_model-Falcon.html ) played the role of the Leopard Sports Car. It is on my to do list but it is currently a very long to do list. In fact I was just about to order the series one dvd. Sounds promising. Just looked on Amazon to see what's available and looks as if an anniversary box set of S1 and S2 is due in March 2011. S1 was the sports car factory, S2 about reviving a stately home, both seem available now on separate DVD collections. I remember S1 at least as being pretty good for a pot-boiler series, better than its reputation at the time (and alternatives such as Howard's Way), but never any danger of becoming a classic. |
