The make names of these Soviet and German tanks keep changing all the time. On the Goldeneye page this is still listed as a KhPZ. |

In Goldeneye both version were used: Soviet-made KhPZ T-54 and Czechoslovak-made ZTS T-55 |

How do we know it's Czech-made? |

- More oval shaped gunner sight aperture and coaxial mg hole (also in Polish-made tanks) - this vehicle is late production variant with T-62-style loader hatch (used on Soviet and Czech-made late vehicles; never Polish); - differences on engine deck (both Polish and Czech, but Polish tanks have square rear-opened aircleaner hatch, while Czech is asymetric - like in Soviet original). i inne... wbrew pozorom czasem łatwo odgadnąć pochodzenie And most of Soviet built vehicles went to Soviet Army. Czechoslovakia and Poland manufactured primarily for export. More info in this page (in Croatian): Link to "www.maketarstvo.net" -- Last edit: 2010-05-24 17:38:52 |
