[E100] I believe, right? They say it was built in Turkey from October 1995: http://www.toyotatr.com/?m=p&pid=6 |

Rear fog light, so made for Europe |

October - means they perhaps started production of the face-lifted 1996 model. This one is older - 1992-1995. |

Not made in Europe IMO, so had to be Japanese import. |

Do you mean the one with this front: /vehicle_340334-Toyota-Corolla-Wagon-E110-1998.html ? Or the [E110]? I'm asking because on Turkish websites there are hundreds of Corollas and Corolla Wagons for sale, built between 1996-1998 that look exactly like the one in the main image. Link to "www.araba.com" Plus the Corolloa Wagons between 1992-1994 are almost inexistent and they lack the third fog light: http://www.araba.com/4002002/ http://www.araba.com/3979669/ I think that's one of the reasons why it was given such an important role, the fact that it was built there (despite being an old car). |

No, the new E110 was made since 1997. My bad - it was the Corolla "Compact", which was the most facelifted in 1995 - http://otomoto.pl/show?id=C19181725 , when the wagon stayed visually nearly untouched. Anyway, the rear fog lamp was available also before 1996 (matter of market). http://www.marotaxaties.nl/Fotos/Portfolio/ToyotaCorollaWagon93DaanRA.jpg http://www.marotaxaties.nl/portfoliotoyota.htm |

Yes. I was thinking about the possibility that those without it could be imports from Japan as you said. Edit: Built in Japan for export. -- Last edit: 2011-07-09 18:15:57 |
