Changing from '59 to '60. Note how the fins cut down into the rear panel (2nd thumbnail). In '58 and '59, they did not. This "boat" Lincoln almost became one! Such a waste. That would have been a real nice collector car today. Sad. |

I have always thought that the 1960 Continental Mark V was such an appropriate vehicle for Claire Marrable to be driving. It was perfectly in line with the plot and probably belonged to her prior to her husband's death and she kept it. I love its huge size and rather sinister appearance. I think the director could have made better use of its rather sinister front end. |

This model has a black exterior and beige interior upholstery. Note the missing fender skirt on the right side.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I watched this movie tonight and I realized than some of this Lincoln's interior shots actually show another car's green interior, for sure a 1961 or 1962 large GM product by the unmistakeble front door vent shape, probably a Buick, or an Olds or a Cadillac. |

another car clearly visible is a nice 1967 metallic light green Mercury Colony Park, in the background while the Lincoln is ispected by police. |
