Willys Jeep CJ, possibly a CJ-3B. -- Last edit: 2010-10-24 15:59:25 |

Filmed in Spain. So it could be a Willys-Viasa or Ebro ? |

Don't think this is standard Willys. Looks to be a long wheel base CJ3B style. Some export built. |

The Spain section on Jeeps Around the World has details on the Spanish Jeeps Raul1983 mentioned: http://www.film.queensu.ca/Cj3b/World/Spain.html |

Yep. It appears to be the Viasa CJ-6 with its long wheel-base. http://www.zbowe.com/cj3b/storia/viasa.htm (default MY unclear: 69+ or more probably 66+.) The linked site says it has nothing to do with the Kaiser-Willys CJ-6. Another site links the car to the former Hotchkiss HWL, the French firm, after merger, having sold blue prints and machines to Viasa. Maybe should we make it "origin: Spain". Or "origin: France". I don't know. -- Last edit: 2015-12-02 14:24:35 |
