Non-standard alloys (and modified arches?) so unlikely to be 914/6 (why replace their Fuchs?) or 914 2.0. If 914/4 is S version with black pillar. So 1970 VW-Porsche 914S?

VW-Porsche and not Porsche, as it's a scene from France. The wheels are aftersales market, surely something French or Italian. Can anyone identify them?

Of course some were marketed in Europe as VW-Porsche, but I thought we list them just as Porsche here. Otherwise let's rename all EU 914's, which deserve for this, and not only two.
About the year I'm not sure, I listed it without any year.

According Wikipedia there were only two visible details changed during the production, the bumpers and the extra front lamps, both for MY 1975. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_914

P.S. The nice details is written there, too, that this gentleman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritz_Huschke_von_Hanstein had solicited at the presentation, not to call this car with the abbrevation "Vopo" (because it was the common term for the DDR-police).

Btw: an autograph of him is hanging framed over my PC. I've asked him years ago about his participation of the Rallye Monte Carlo 1971. Guess why. ;)

No idea. K70 was too new, to participate in early 1971 rally. :D

I've got following details for UK cars (none of which help in this case, but probably worth noting if useful for other cases/markets):
1] 914 and 914/6
Announced Oct 69, production started Dec 69 of 914 std and S, and 914/6 Sports.
Feb 70 914S and 914/6 first imports to UK
Sept 70 (all) shorter rear apron, third windscreen demister slot, roof lining (914S)
Oct 71 914S became 914 Sports S. Adjustable passenger seat (also fitted to 914/6 from Dec 71). Sportomatic dropped.
July/Aug 72 discontinued in UK, but 914 std continued in Germany.
2] 914 2.0 Roadster and Roadster SC
Oct 72 Both introduced in UK
Sept 74 Roadster dropped in UK, Roadster SC available to special order only as renamed 914 GT with Comfort & GT packs fitted as standard, also front spoiler and thicker bumper rubbers.
No date for final UK models.

Sorry, but it was a K 70. :p There was an extra class for "Chevronniers" -sorry I cannot find the correct French term- for older drivers, who got prized positions at some Monte-Rallyes before. Also him: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petermax_M%C3%BCller (I grew up a few meters besides his VW/Audi-store) and annother man (Italian?).
AFAIK in this class there were three K 70 and some Fiat 125. The K 70 were original 90 hp-cars, "tuned" only with extra front lamps on the bumper and a selfmade lamp-washer-system (and seat-slipcovers from the company HUND - they used this event of PR-reasons later on).

Didn't know about this class and (sorry to say) strange cars used in it. Rather unusual choice for rallying (Fiat 125 too). :D

Yes, either list correctly all, or keep all under Porsche, but not just one or two like this.
Until someone has time to do that, better to keep this one and /vehicle_119598-VW-Porsche-914-Typ-47-1970.html as just Porsche.
