Painted on London scene? Does not seem very accurate to me. |

Yes, it's a digital composite with a stock photo of London. I think this might be a view from Westminster Bridge. |

I'd guess that's Westminster bridge in the background and the view is from the Lambeth Rd bridge or perhaps Victoria Tower Gardens. Btw, it was actually moving video footage, so it was a little better than a painted on background ![]() |

You're right, it's looking north to Westminster Bridge with County Hall and the Shell Centre on the right. Link to "maps.google.co.uk" |

![]() Probably also from the Harper-Smith collection along with the Scimitar. -- Last edit: 2010-10-16 19:58:09 |

http://www.eurofilmcars.com/html/limos.htm shows a V plate (with a claim that it's a Fairway) = 79-80 (has chrome window trim unlike the older FX4 on that site). -- Last edit: 2012-10-21 01:20:12 |

Looks like the older (pre-73 door handles) in the main shot which doesn't match the one described as a Fairway. |

1968-1972. Later rear-lights but earlier up-swept door handles (not the later push-button style). |
