If E500PY99, it's a '99.

Has the 1997-1999 dashboard. Gamer I believe you are correct with that assessment.

Don't suppose you can pull the VIN?

We don't get to know a lot about it, but it does say:
Quote COUNTRY RUSSIA

so this was sold new. I linked to a brochure here: /vehicle.php?id=717213

Yes, it was built in the US, but for the Russian market. I believe it's like with Brazil and the Astra F, where they were built at home and then sold overseas.

Another one I checked was here: /vehicle.php?id=1212748

Weird how the trim levels changed. I guess they took US built models and just adjusted the trim levels specific to the market. Neat. I'll add the export tag.

I believe there was some general EU export version, since these were officially offered in some European markets such as Germany and Scandinavian countries. Not in Italy, we got only the 2000+ [GMT820] IIRC, very very few sold btw (never seen one, just a pair of Blazer)

It seems most of these export models came from the Janesville, Wisconsin plant, even though the Arlington, Texas plant also built Tahoes and Yukons of this generation.
