I really like these cars, I'd really like to get one, but they're quite rare. To think, they were almost everywhere on the streets of Seoul in the early 90s! |

I have only seen two of these in my life. One in Greece and one in Estonia. The importer of Hyundai cars in Finland brought only one example and luckily it has survived (I saw a picture of it this year). Very rare car these days indeed. |

Here's one in Sweden: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Hyundai_Stellar_1986_red_Sweden.jpeg I wonder how many were actually sold there and how many of them have survived. These were not availible in Norway as Hyundai didn't start selling their cars here before 1993. -- Last edit: 2010-10-05 00:25:52 |

You can always call the owner and ask if it's for sale, it haven't been in traffic since 2006 so it's probably cheap. |

The photo Lateef linked to was taken in 2005 - before the car went off the road - so it might well have been scrapped by now. |

It's not at a junkyard if that's what you mean but it's probably rusting away behind some shed... |

Well, I can always have one imported from Peru: http://www.ooyyo.com/used-cars/hyundai-stellar/peru However, it might be too expensive. |

Import a car from the US to Sweden usually lands between 10000-20000 kronor so I guess it would be something simillar between Peru and Norway. |

I remember a family trip to toronto,Ontario in the early '90s and seeing a few of these and the Hyundai Ponys (also a rarity now on those salt-covered Canadian roads). There were a few Ponys brought to the states by expats but not the Stellars. |
