Note that a few Mercedes OF 1417 had the same bodywork as the Volvo B57 here in Singapore. The registration number isn't very clear, but it looks like SBS 5517U. Perhaps another old-time bus enthusiast from Singapore can confirm. Also, note the orange bus behind - it's a bus owned by the now-defunct Singapore Shuttle Bus company, which operated CSS bus routes. That one looks like a Hino model. |

Yes this is a OF1417. This is clear because the wheel arches are no higher than the red strip, but on B57s they are higher (at least when they were painted with the livery that had 2 red stripes, NOT the single red stripe seen above.
