This is an AM General AM715 built 1979(?) or later. It uses civilian front sheet metal and less rugged running gear but with the military style bed. Watered down version of the previously built Kaiser M715. Most all went for export. May be the first on the site? |

i dont know why this is listed in the AM GENERAL category, its not an AM GENERAL - what it is is a jeep gladiator modified for the military by KAISER and its not built in 1979 but was built in the late 60's, military designation is M-715.and no they didnt build them with civilian front ends after the military stopped using them, the one pictured has just had the front fenders replaced for some reason, they will fit off of pickups, cherokee's and wagoneers |

The link to the M715 is correct but does not relate to the vehicle pictured. The Kaiser Jeep M-715 is a different vehicle than the AM General AM715 pictured here. Built in different decades with many different components. |
