Indian Scouts, they were the most commonly used motorcycles for the wall of death because of their steady frame and reliable steady going engine. Most popular were the scout built before 1928 (the introduction of the 101 Scout) because they have a shorter wheelbase. Also the 101 scout has a front brake. So these bikes are 1920 to 1928 Scouts |

I see a leaf sprung front fork, V-twin engine, wide handlebars and and pan saddle. Looks like Indian Scout to me. Jawa never built V-twin engines as far as I know (besides the racing machines of course). Have a look at http://www.steilewand.nl/ |

I have seen this film. I think this is a rebild Harley-Davidson WLA. It was left withing USSR after having been delivered by lend-lease. |
