I think it has side marker on front wing so 280SL? Not much use here, but has anyone come across the idea that 230SL/250SL had hubcaps but 280SL had full one-piece wheel cover depicting hubcap and outer slots? Easily swapped but might be useful? |

Is the Volvo 1800 behind the Mustang worth to mention? This Pagode is surely a newer, 1968+ version, just due the colour. For taking the new W115-hubcaps you also have to change the rims. They don't fit on the old ones from the W110/111. It's -to say it a bit sarcastic- a sign of poverty and avarice to change the old with the new wheels. Some W110/111-owners have done it, too - because there you can mount cheaper tires. The original size is more expensive and was hard to get for a time. -- Last edit: 2011-02-06 13:54:43 |
