Both look like Mercedes-Benz's. The one on the left looks like a Sprinter. |

I'm guessing a Eurocar body based on the front facia Link to "articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx" http://todoxautobus.tripod.com/id3.html on a Mexican-built Mercedes Boxer chassis (which apparently later became a MB model itself, not just a chassis) Link to "media.daimler.com" |

it's a little bit larger to be a Sprinter, IMHO |

Not a Dina minibus (not sure the model) or similar? this is in near México? |

Mexico, yes. I'm pretty sure they're built by Carrocerías Eurocar now, here are some more look-alikes in addition to the two i listed above: http://mx.autos.cozot.com/autos-usados-camiones-mercedes-benz-1996/ The logo on the left looks like Mercedes and I don't see any DINAs on the web with that grille. Chassis would be MBO-1418 or 1419 probably, part of Mercedes' "Boxer" line of chasses assembled in Monterrey. so, could be called "Mercedes-Benz Boxer Eurocar Body" or something like that. What do you think? |

Look, i do not know almost nothing about buses, cars and Mexican trucks, but I am sure it is a Mexican bus. Is that for example, Mercedes-Benz has a rather poor reputation in Mexico there as it's not like here in Argentina where 50 years ago that is one of the leaders in the sale of buses. But I agree that it is very similar to 2001 Mercedes-Benz MBO-1419 Eurocar. -- Last edit: 2010-09-01 07:08:17 |

Why else do you think this is not Mercedes? According to that daimler.com page I linked, M-B built 50,000 buses in their Monterrey plant since 1994 and had 52% market share in Mexico last year. So it seems they're a major bus manufacturer now. p.s.- I am no expert myself, I'm only learning through lots of googling ![]() |

It is not a traditional manufacturer (just since 1994 present) and do not have the years you may have here. Also, I heard and read in several forums, complaints about these buses. At least the people I know, prefers Dina, MCI and other bus before the Mercedes-Benz. I guess it's the same thing happened with Volvo and other manufacturers. Ps: I am no expert, and less in Mexico, but that is what I read, with respect to reliability and preferences they have. |

"Body" not needed in extra info (the word, not the characteristic) |
