Stepside was a Ford term. Dodge used the name "Utiline" for these beds.

the pic is already up. just makin a fuss because i tried posting it first awhile ago. i was goin to post more pics of other cars/trucks but that dodge didnt post so i didnt. also due to this truck not having the upper body lines (the tops of the fenders are smooth) and not having the raised hood i strongly belive that this truck is a 74-78 power wagon and not a 81-85 power ram. how do i get this changed?

I know you already know this and just mistyped it this time, but for the sake of accuracy I must point out the 'Stepside' is a Chevrolet term, the Ford term would be 'Flareside' ;)

after looking through google images I do believe that this is the older 74-78 Power Wagon and not the 81 Power Ram (the edge of the grille is different and the truck above doesn't have the bodyline that the 81+ did)

Compare:

1974: http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/812/2601/2028800004_large.jpg

thats exactly what i said in a previous post. look at the the hood on a 79+ as well, this truck has the birdbath style hood. the 79-80 trucks had the same hoods as the 81+ trucks.

Hmmm, it looks exactly like my 1984 D-150. I got super excited when I saw the trailer on tv a few hours ago, I looked it up online and I found this forum. Now I'm just curious what year it is and if it is the same as mine.

yeah its deff. a 70s model, heres how I can tell

1.Small Bolt Pattern
2.Rounded Front Fenders vs Squared
3.Fender Lip At Wheel Arch Is Bigger Than 81-93 Models
4.Turn Signals Are Recessed In Fender, On 81-93 Models They Are Sitting On Outside Of Fender
5.The Recess Below Grille Is More Covered Up on 81-93 Models
I Own 2 70s Power Wagons & 2 80s-90 RamChargers, I study the bodys for hours on end, plus study pics of 70s-90s Dodges for hours on end.

this is weird one guys..it got a 79+ hood but a 77 grill. call it what you want. if the movie company is calling it a 1979 then someone must of put a 77 grill on it.
