I thought it was never called Hilux in the USA? |

Apparantly (admittedly, according to Wikipedia), US used the Hilux name until '76 (although I'd say this truck is newer than that). |

'pickup' is more official than hi-lux I presume? |

Just thinking, Is it a actually a Toyota? We see only the 'A', but if you put 'TOYOT' left of that 'A', it will be a very wide car... Or am I mistaken? |

I think it's a Mazda B2000. http://www.therainiervalley.com/1990MazdaB2200.JPG http://members.ktv-ternberg.at/needful/schnoll/P6.jpg Look a the 'A'. It's more to the right. -- Last edit: 2006-05-11 10:29:50 |

On the Mazda the text is often not written in the same style and same place. And the lights do not match. -- Last edit: 2006-05-11 10:33:10 |

Toyota HiLux definitely. Panel form over the wheel arches and door handle position is identical. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Toyota_Hi-Lux_%28Old%29.jpg |

So 'Pickup' must be HiLux? |
◊ 2006-05-11 12:23 |
Well, a Toyota Pickup. In some markets, it was a Hilux, but not the North American one. |

OK, de official name is Toyota Pickup? Not an original name... -- Last edit: 2006-05-11 12:38:47 |
