I don't think so that this car is soviet made.Rather some war trophy,some german car...May be Stoewer...? |

I am sorry and I know that some details deviate, but I would rather agree with Wicio and say it's rather a Stoewer, maybe a R140/R150. Both shape and angle of the grille, the fenders and the headlights point in that direction. Besides, the car shown here has a running-board while the Adler never had one. The only things that is different from all the Stoewer-pictures I could find is the position of the doorhandles and the "vents" on the side of the bonnet. The car shown here apparently has been turned into some kind of sculpture/monument/piece of art- maybe this could be an explanation for the irregularities. The only thing that's sure is that this is a case for the pre-war squad.  |

Thanks for the picture! As I said, bonnet and both shape and position of the doorhandles fit as far as Adler is concerned, but the differences remain( shape and angle of the grille, both shape and size of the front and rear fenders, size and shape of the bumpers and the running-board which the Adler doesn't have). Thanks for the good picture and the background information, Tönz! As I said before, the car shown here has become rather a monument/ work of art and consists of parts of more than just one particular vehicle. |
