78colonypark ◊ 2010-08-08 20:19	This is pre-'88 face-lifted Ford LTD Country Squire, the wood paneling gave it away. Ford's had the light wood trim around their wood paneling where Mercury's had a chrome trim (Link to "media.photobucket.com") Yes, that is the Mercury logo on the wheels. For some reason the '87 and older Crown Vic & Country Squires with the Aluminum "turbine" wheels had the Mercury logo on them. From 1988 onwards, then they received the blue oval. Here is a perfect example of both the wood trim on a Country Squire and the Mercury logo center caps on a Ford: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2427836
