Nah, looks more like a 1971-77 Chevy G-30 with a Midas mini-motor home body. |

It's definitely GMC (Or maybe someone changed the badge for some reason?)... If you look closely on the hood it says G M C between the "or" and "Move", kind of hard to see in this picture. I wasn't sure if it had more to its name.. I just googled 'GMC midas' and got a bunch of similar motor homes with the name: http://www.runwalkjog.com/RVs/ohio/78GMCMidasMotorhome110808.htm -- Last edit: 2010-07-05 04:24:18 |

Admittedly, I do see the the word "VanDura" on the cowl, but the lettering between the "or" and "Move" didn't really look that much like lettering to me. What made me think this was a Chevy was the grille. Since there is more evidence it's a GMC, it's a Vandura G-3500. |

Midas is a manufacturer of motorhomes, independent of GM. We have a few Midas Class C motorhomes on the site: /vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=&yearTo=&makeMatch=2&make=&modelMatch=0&model=midas&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=on&modelInclExtra=on&origin= |

That is a 1977 Midas. Note the decals on the side coupled with the 1977 fender badge in this fascia. Here is a similar 1977 Midas: https://www.smartrvguide.com/L48977940 - longer body https://offerup.com/item/detail/429718849/ - I think the right body length. Here is a 1976 for comparison: http://www.gmcrvforsale.com/1976-midas-edwardsville-il/ |
