Where was the scene shot? It seems to be a faked border-control-point in the background, I can read "Zoll" and "Douane", but it seems to be filmed in GB - the style of the door in the house is rather British.

So some Vauxhall maybe?

Filmed in UK but this scene is placed in a theoretical country in Eastern Europe and same place where also was used the Volga

Definitely a Moskvitch. The car was sold in England as the Moskvitch 408 or 412 depending on whether it was fitted with the OHV 1357 cc engine (408), or the 1478 cc OHC engine (412).

You cannot tell from this photograph, and according to my source, the models overlapped in time to make things even more confused. Sale stopped in 1975. It is almost possible to smell the cabbage in the plastic seats from here.

1965+ Moskvitch 408 due to vertical, one-piece tail light.
Model 412 (and 1969+ 408 also) had different, two-piece lamps. Vertical indicators & horizontal rest.
Indicator and STOP/parking lights are separated units as visible here:

Guess medimaic must have pressed the send button moments before me. My doubts were on the Austin, not Moskvich.
