Sure, ugly as hell (even for general reasons. All copies of legend are ugly. Always and everywhere). Despite that you must admit something else: it's reliable. The MINI has reached something, what never ever before any British made car was able for: being the No.1 in the ADAC-Pannenstatistik: Link to "www.adac.de" The most reliable car of its class. P.S. Sounds not as idiotic, as the manner of BMW and Audi back in the 80ies, to take real chromated or stainless steel-trims (so elaborately made with expensive raw materials and a high environmental load) - and paint them over before mounting on the cars  |
