| The plastic front fascia was used from 1978-81. 1977 models still had exposed bumpers. Early '78 models, however, still used the older dashboard. It must have been a midyear change (for the worse, imo) The hood scoop and fender vent were the Z-28 pieces used on 1978 and 1979 models. The 80/81 Z had a different style fender vent and a different style hood scoop with a rear air inlet and a solenoid that would open it. |
