movie prop "German" halftrack, made from a WW2 British Universal tracked carrier!!...and some sheet metal with non driving wheels from an italian truck for the front end....as most of the vehicle is clearly a disguised Universal Carrier, the drive for the vehicle is provided by the tracked carriers rear sprocket...the truck front wheels being used for "steering". -- Last edit: 2010-06-01 18:59:58 |

At least it makes a change from painting Latin crosses on White halftracks ... ![]() |

How is anyone meant to sit inside the cab and drive it? It's so incredibly low. Did they hire dwarves as drivers? Or: there's a hole in the floor so it's driven in Flintstone-style - respect to that. -- Last edit: 2010-06-01 20:15:55 |
