I assume the side trim is lost. Or did they crash an Eldorado? -- Last edit: 2024-02-06 23:32:35 (humungus) |

Not an Eldorado Biarritz, but not a [6267F] Series 62 Convertible either! The roof is way too tall, just like the windshield. Also, the proportion of the door looks off. That's a heavily modified sedan! Makes even more sense, as crashing an genuine 1959 Cadillac convertible would have been way too expensive. @humungus: Now that you announced an HD upgrade for this movie - could you please check if there are any additional views of this Cadillac? Is this an interior shot of the same car? By the sedan front seat and the obviously cut windhield frame, I think it is and in that case it's a former Sedan de Ville. |

The scenes are an hour apart with different personnel, but yes, that looks like it's the same car. It certainly has the same plate (BLA 984): For comparison, here's the interior from the first scene and two quick glimpses of it after the crash: |

Thanks @humungus! Yeah, that thing is wrong on many levels, but once had been converted with much effort and a touch of color blindness. No big loss IMO and a fine parts car for better ones after filming wrapped up. |
