'Morris 1000' from model year 1957 in the USA, the car shown is after model year 1962 with the semaphore arms discontinued

Rear lights are probably after model year 1964 combined units with red rather than orange turn signals shown by the larger chromed base (although its possible they are the earlier type with slightly less chrome, 1957-64).

This looks to me like a real Hong Kong location (like all the other captures from this episode), so the car is not a US model.

Bump: This is in Hong Kong, not the USA.

Actually, it's Japan, not Hong Kong.

Btw, what other captures? I can only find one capture for this episode, and I'm looking at it.

Mea culpa. Thought it was 1.07 not 1.09.

But would the barriers be marked so prominently in English in Japan?

 Are the letters really Japanese? They are looking lavishly for that, so I have the impression, it's Chinese.

:hello: Anyone around here right now, who knows these languages?

It does look very similar to these Chinese characters (these are in reversed order)...

...but I don't know either language.
