The 1979/80 British brochure says "5 new workhorses from Toyota" and "The new HiAce vans...", but maybe it reffers just to some modifications (though the car at the brochure pics still has old bumper). @dsl do you have market datas also for the commercial vehicles? -- Last edit: 2014-09-07 01:24:53

If anyone's seriously interested, look for the annual Glass's Commercial Check Guides on ebay etc - they do crop up occasionally (but do not confuse them with the Glass's Guide Commercial Values monthly publications). I've got 2 of the Commercial Check Guides by accident in a job lot and find them very difficult, but that's mainly because I don't really know the vehicles.

Let alone that I also found correct date of mentioned brochure - 1979 was wrong - it is in fact from the late 1977. This version was officially called "1600 Panel Van" at the beginning of its life. -- Last edit: 2014-09-07 22:16:04
