Strange to see a Citroën HY in connection with the Hindenburg... and this one has a strange rear with two doors and a lot of extra lights.... |

Quite strange, as the H van wasn't made until 1948...oooops! I noticed this years ago, shortly after the movie came out, but it went by so quickly, and there was no DB then. Love my '64 split. Btw, the double rear (one could say, French) doors were offered as part of Carroserie SAPA's <<H Zone Bleue>> version for the procrustean - literally - size restrictions for central Paris. Others did, as well. Ref: le type H Citroën - le cube utile, Fabien Sabatès & Wouter Jansen editions Charles Massin, avril 1992. -- Last edit: 2014-08-15 10:06:00 |
