| That is the 2.2 turbo I car from the opening race scene that was taken to be chopped for parts. Should at least be rated as a 2 star car. |

| this is the wrong car, compare the front ends, the daytona in the opening credits is an 85-86 |

| they did that in another movie too...think Cannonball Run. They show an earlier 84ish Daytona TZ and then later show a newer Daytona TZ with the pop-up headlights (i hated when they gave it that facelift. And when on the show "Hunter" they gave DeeDee the newer version when I loved the older.  |
