Are the wheels the only round pieces that this ugly bunch of crap posseses? |
◊ 2006-04-12 12:34 |
headlights are round too |
◊ 2006-04-12 18:26 |
And the steering wheel too ? Or did they put the square steering wheel of the Austin Allegro ? |

A cheap and ugly cardboard box masquerading as a motorhome.. |
◊ 2006-04-16 01:31 |
wow, I wouldnt let my dog stay in that !!! |
◊ 2006-04-20 18:54 |

Ce bunker à roulettes semble bien faire l'unanimité... a real dream car... |
◊ 2006-04-21 19:17 |
Possibly Winnebago something... |
◊ 2006-04-22 19:31 |
Oh, it's anything BUT a Winnebago. I know Winnebagoes from the 1960's & '70's and they looked nothing like this. |
◊ 2006-05-21 02:03 |
This thing looks like an OLD Champion |
◊ 2006-05-22 11:33 |
I believe it's a Dodge motorhome. I have seen a picture of Elvis Presleys car collection and he had a dodge motorhome just like this. |
◊ 2006-07-09 00:21 |
I can see a bit of Dodge influence in the grille. Any chance there's a link to it? |
◊ 2006-07-09 00:43 |
Ive never stopped looking for this thing, |
◊ 2007-01-31 12:47 |
could it be a frank Link to "jaycronen.com" |
◊ 2008-01-07 09:36 |
Could be yes |
◊ 2008-03-31 05:52 |
Ooh, that looks close. The grille bars on this one doesn't spread out that wide, though. Plus, the sides tend to stretch out in front of it. -- Last edit: 2008-03-31 05:52:44 |

Could be a very early "Hymer Mobil", a German mobile home maker (see: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hymer) |
◊ 2011-05-22 05:46 |
I'm afraid there haven't been too many German motor homes on this side of the Atlantic, other than Volkswagen Campmobiles. |
◊ 2011-05-22 14:30 |
For sure not. It's definetely some American Camper. The old boxy Hymers are also smaller, based often on Bedford CF, Mercedes T1 and IIRC also on the T1-predecessor, the 207, resp.Hanomag F20. |

I've been working on this for a LONG time. I think, I've finally found something.. Could it be, Tiffin Allegro? /vehicle_327980-Tiffin-Allegro-1978.html It has some minor differences, but overall, seems to match. What do you think?? |
◊ 2011-05-24 19:28 |
Close but no cigar, as Bill Clinton would say. |
◊ 2011-05-24 19:34 |
Actually, that seems even further off... |
◊ 2011-05-31 00:43 |
Yeah, carcrasher88 is right. I've seen Tiffin Allegros of the late-1980's and I even submitted one. That's way off. |

I think it might be a Champion motorhome the squared off front and the paint job all match a Champion motorhome but there are some details that dont match like the grill and headlights they remind me more of a Tiffin Allegro an executive motorhome or an AMF Skamper. -- Last edit: 2011-10-04 00:02:24 |

Foretravel? http://www.dodgetravcos.com/index.php?p=1_33_Foretravel-History |
◊ 2011-10-07 22:29 |
Hmmm, it seems indeed so. |

OK there are not a lot of campers out there that are quite this ugly so I have gathered up some possibilities we have a Champion motorhome Link to "3.bp.blogspot.com" we have the Tiffin Allegro /vehicle_331144-Tiffin-Allegro.html the AMF Skamper /vehicle_437333-AMF-Skamper.html a Winnebago /vehicle_365273-Winnebago-Brave-1972.html along with these http://www.dodgetravcos.com/index.php?p=1_42&p2=1 I found this one that seems to match pretty well Link to "www.dodgetravcos.com" unfortunately I cant figure out what the one in my link is. so make your own opinion or think of more possibilities. by the way I doubt it is the Foretravel above it is just a bit to ugly to be a Foretravel we may never know what it is unless we ask someone who worked on the film. the links were the closest things I could find -- Last edit: 2011-10-18 17:03:50 |

They are similar because they are just boxes on wheels, but the details very too much. (and Cheif is written Chief) -- Last edit: 2011-11-25 14:06:26 |

The windows, door, and wheelbase look a lot like a mid 1970s Executive Diplomat II /vehicle_167883-Executive-Diplomat-II.html they also look a lot like a mid 1970s Champion http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/123/campingcaradwk8.jpg/ or a 1971 Georgie boy Cruise-Air /vehicle_61092-Georgie-Boy-Cruise-Air-1971.html or a 1976 Dodge Southwind http://www.freeride.co.uk/img/review/large/2462.jpg |
◊ 2012-04-14 10:55 |
I can't find anything like it. Kinda Looks like an old Dodge Aloha Link to "www.google.ca" But the front grill and angeled windows do not match. -- Last edit: 2012-04-14 10:59:30 |

I agree with you chrome83, I think you've finally found it. This is an early-1970s Aloha, although probably not the same year or model, it looks quite similar to this one when it drives closer http://imgc.classistatic.com/cps/poc/120223/364r1/9993f9_27.jpeg its probably not the same year or model, but its definitely an Aloha. |
tom11 ◊ 2012-04-17 17:05 |
After thinking about the year and model, its probably an Aloha 30', as 24' was shorter, and the year is about 1973. |
◊ 2015-05-31 13:11 |
Gamer - Anything to say about this one? |
◊ 2015-05-31 13:13 |
Yes - it's ugly. |
◊ 2015-05-31 21:21 |
What's weird is that I can't even positively make out the era it's from; late-1960s/early-1970s? |
◊ 2016-12-12 11:41 |
Not Aloha RV, it's somthing esle. |
