in eps 2.02 antp -Further evidence of number-plate swapping. The first pic here has the plate used on the other mk.III cortina in eps 1.07 ..but when the car pulls away (pic #2)it has the NHK 296M plate on the rear.! |

This is indeed one and the same car and it was sometimes tweaked to look like a different car, hence the occasional use of lights and 'DLO' plate in the episode Faces, which was also used (badly) on Carter's Viva in the Sweeney movie. Like the Consul and subsequent Granadas, this car was supplied by the Ford Motor Company and was replaced by another Cortina, NWC300P and this time in white for the third series to accompany the silver Granada NWC301P. -- Last edit: 2007-01-13 12:52:28 |
