A Studebaker Commander Regal De Luxe four-door sedan of 1948. Contrary to the 1947 it has the large chrome plate above the grille at the base of the hood , larger bumper guards and the long chrome spears above the front fenders .As far as can be seen,bumpers on this car still seem to be of the non-wraparound type ( Wraparound bumpers were introduced in 1949).The Commander rode on a 119 inches wheelbase and was powered by the 226 cubic inch six of 94 horsepower.Nice youthfull pink finish on this Grease car ! |
