Mon grand-père en avait une, et je n'en ai malheureusement aucun souvenir. A part ce que mon pere m'en a dit ![]() |

This is the top-of-the-line 1971 'Cuda, not a Barracuda. |

Pourtant,Nash le dit,lui-même,une fois,que c'est une Barracuda 71. |

I think I read somewhere this was actually a 1970 Cuda with a 71 front because they never made 71 Cuda convertibles. Does any one else rmember anything about this? |

Found this link. It wasn't no 71 cuda convertibles, it was only 11, and only 7 sold in the US. http://vintagecars.about.com/od/historygreatmoments/ss/hemicuda_rw.htm |

Here's the deal: the car is supposed to be a 1971 Hemi 'Cuda Conv. In 1971, Plymouth only made 108 Hemi 'Cudas, and only 7 were convertibles...1971 'Cudas are worth their weight in gold nowadays, going for millions of dollars at the Barrett-Jackson Auctions. Don Johnson wanted his car to be a 71 convertible, but with so few made, the prop guys came up with a better plan. They found 6 1970 Barracuda convertibles, some with 318s, some with 360s, and one 440 car. All have been switched to the 71 style grille and taillights to appear as 71's. None of the cars are actually Hemis, though all of them say HemiCuda on the Shaker bubble. |

it has to get 5 stars. |

I vote to move this one into the 'Cuda section, rather then Barracuda. |

But if it is just a '70 Barracuda modified... |

I don't really believe this car's role in the show deserves 5 stars. From what I remember, Don Johnson's character used it about as much as the Ferraris in Miami Vice. Four stars would be more a appropriate ranking. |

I think it deserves all 5...the 'Cuda is in just about every single episode! |
