[W115] It's the rare Estate-version, which was AFAIK not built by Mercedes Benz itself. Maybe in Belgium, as the predecessor?

I know what you are refering to. You mean the Belgian company I.M.A. which converted W111s, but I think they ceased to exist in 1968. Besides, the colour (if it's the factory paintjob) rather indicates the 70s.

Maybe made by Binz?

mmm... MBA (Mercedes-Benz Argentina) made 1044 pick-ups 220 D. Some owners transformed it in sedan and station wagon.
http://www.cocheargentino.com.ar/m/mercedes_pickup.htm

"Mercedes-Benz Argentina desarrolló esta pick-up (simple y doble cabina) en base al automóvil 220, reformando su carrocería, algunas de estas unidades una vez adquiridas eran transformadas por sus propietarios en rural y nuevamente en automóvil".

"Mercedes-Benz Argentina has developed this pick-up (single and double cab) based on the automobile 220, reforming its body, some of these units were acquired once transformed by their owners in rural and car again".

I'm not sure that's the case, but it could be.

The front bumper indicates a South-American version, so I think it might well be an Argentian built wagon...

 the first Binz, Wicio has listed, looks rather like a hearse than a regular wagon... But weren't there a very very few wagon-conversions like that one above (with the lower roof), also in Europe? :??:

Eeeeh ... what's up with Crayford? They made some! Otherwise: didn't the Crayford-conversions have black plastic-roofs?

As it looks, it was made by a real coachbuilder, it's surely no self-cobbled homework.

Surely a rare version, but the pricing is conscious.
Otherwise: in the actual "Oldtimer Markt" there is an advertise for a 1975 240 D 3.0 in ahorngelb with 82.000 km - 25.000 € :??: Way overpriced! I'm not familar with Benz-prices and they are more expensive than same-aged cars in the same class, but this is too much fore sure. With a bit luck and good connections, there is a realistic chance to catch a 300 SEL 6.3 for a similar price. Not immediately and not everywhere, but not impossible. :o
