this would be "a hammer", because of the many Western cars there. I think rather in the CSSR, because there were many more Western cars on the streets than in the DDR. The ancient architecture is not too different. |

These scenes which were "meant to be set in West Germany" were filmed in GDR for sure. "Fachwerkhäuser" are very unusal in czech towns. I think it´s very clear. CS television bought some western cars (mainly older models), shipped them to GDR (to the filming location), made some fake BRD plates and that´s all. |
