Front (thumbnails 1&2) looks '58 De Soto, but the rear is different.

Perhaps it came from Canadian variant of Plodge as described at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plodge .

Well, one thing more to know: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeSoto_Diplomat

DeSoto Diplomats were essentially Dodges or Plymouths rebadged as DeSotos and sold outside North America. They were manufactured both in Detroit, Michigan, USA, and in Windsor, Ontario, Canada......From 1957 to 1959, the DeSoto Diplomat used the DeSoto Firesweep front clip with Plymouth body

This is a 1958 DeSoto Diplomat Custom 4 door hardtop sedan ( LF3-M43).However I disagree with this car having necessarily been built in Canada .It is a Spanish setting and period DeSoto Diplomats were also built in European Chrysler assembly plants as in Antwerp and not only in Detroit or Windsor.
